Lesson 327: Home Blessing Ritual

With the letter written in the previous lesson, we are to use that to bless our home with the following steps:

  • Stand at the main entrance to your home or apartment. If you have two entrances, go the one that is considered the principal entrance even if you don't use it as much or at all.

  • Read your message out loud.

  • Imagine the words washing over (purifying, cleansing) your entire home and property inside and out. Bathe them in love and sparkly golden light.

  • When you feel complete, close your eyes and visualize this love and sparkly golden light expanding out to surround and envelop the entire property.

  • Ask that this bubble of golden light act as a discerning field to filter out anything that does not serve and support your home, property, and all its occupants -- seen and unseen.

  • When you feel complete, bring awareness back to your expanded self standing at the main entrance to your home and open your eyes.

Do you notice a change when you do this? It may not happen straight away but allow the shift to take place and take notice.

I wasn’t home to perform this task today. I did it remotely. I followed the steps and imagined I was standing in the doorway and reading out the words I had written. I filled the home with light and let it surround my apartment building also.

I will see how the feeling of the home goes for the next few days. I would love to see the energy lifted. I guess time will tell.

Day 326 - A Year to Clear - Bathe Your Home In Love

Lesson 326: Bathe Your Home In Love

Today we are to take some time to write a letter to our homes and just tell our home all the ways in which we love it. As we write the letter, imagine the words cleansing your home and just continue to bathe your home in love.

My letter:

To my home,

Thank you for continuously giving me shelter and a place to actually call home. You look after me every day and make sure that I am safe. I am grateful that I have somewhere to live when some people don’t. You always allow me to have good rest and sleep. Without you, I wouldn’t have some of the fondest memories with my friends or my cats. I love your uniqueness and the creaks are just part of your character. Your high ceilings make the home feel spacious, because if I didn’t have them, it would feel so cramped. Thanks for allowing me to sing and dance all the time with no one watching but you. Thanks for protecting me and allowing me to be myself.

Lesson 325: Raise the Vibration of Your Home

Today we are to raise the vibration in our homes by closing our eyes, breathing in and on every out breath to imagine our homes encased in a bubble of love and light. Do you notice a difference when you do this? How are you feeling?

I sometimes adopt this practise as I fall asleep. I ask the Divine to help protect my home by placing a nice protective light shield around my home. It makes my home feel safe. I adopted the same method in this lesson. I imagine a big ball of golden light around my home and that everything inside was safe. I am not currently home so I did this practise remotely. I still felt like it was making my home feel safe and loved. I do also have a warding spell for my home just for protection but the golden light makes it feel loved. I think when I enter today, it will feel like the energy is lifted.

How do you feel?

Day 324 - A Year to Clear - Express Gratitude for Your Home

Lesson 324: Express Gratitude for Your Home

Today we are to express gratitude towards our homes. What works really well for your home. Did you ever write or do a blessing in your home when you moved in? We can appreciate so much for what’s right in front of us.

I am grateful that I have a roof over my head for starters. Without my home, I wouldn’t know what it’s like to have independence. I live by myself and made my home my own. My home is a reminder of me taking steps to be my own home owner all by myself. It’s nice to know what I can achieve on my own and it tests my strength. I love the high ceilings of my home. I love that it’s in a heritage building. I love its charm. I like that it looks a bit odd to. I am grateful that it stands for me to have cats in. I blessed my house with sage and warded it also for protection. I like that I practise my spirituality in there and the home allows it. I love the space to dance. I am grateful that it exists.

What are you grateful for in your home?

Lesson 84: Check In WEEK 12 - Connecting With Home

So, the end of the week has us reflecting on what we had learned about our homes or workplace. I think I have a lot of work to do in making my home my own. Time is definitely my friend in this situation. Once I get my space to truly feel like mine, then it will be good for me. I can truly be myself.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, people can really make or break a workspace, or even a home. Whatever mood they are in really captures the energy of the room. The mood of people helps to create the presence of the room. This is where I can really distinguish the difference from one space to another.

I find that my home reveals to me that I’m a working progress and may have quite a lazy type of personality. I am aware of this and try to work through it. I feel like that I’m doing well in terms of creating steps towards the way I want to be. I am going to work hard for my goals. My house definitely reflects this laziness right now. Small steps I think to create a routine that have bigger outcomes.
