Lesson 112: Lesson 112: Check In WEEK 16 - Letting Go, Letting Flow

The week opened my eyes to how fluid any situation can be. It’s really simple when you’re observing other people – it’s like clockwork and routine. This is what this course is all about. Gaining those fluid skills to apply to clearing. It’s about the repetition in each task we do towards clearing that it becomes an extension of us and therefore becomes an easy, unforced task. It should be a natural flow that leads to our spaciousness. I realise that it’s me that can overcomplicate the clearing. I’m always reminding myself, it’s not a race, just do each part bit by bit and I will get the space that I desire. Slow and steady is good for me.

Day 111 - A Year of Spirituality - The Opening of the Human Heart

Lesson 111: The Opening of the Human Heart...

As we go through the passages of the heart, we become more open. I think it can be part of anyone’s journey if we want to be open. We have moved through pain and also compassion. For some people it can take mere minutes to work through each passage, for others it can take years. As I do this course, I realise that everyone has their own pace but it’s about being aware. Today’s lesson is all about thinking about where we are in our soul growth journey.

I think I am definitely past the pain passage of the heart. I don’t really have ill feelings toward anything from my past that may have caused me pain. I know I’ve mentioned this before but hypnotherapy really got me to a good place. When I think about compassion, I definitely think I hold more for others than I do myself. I am still learning to hold a lot more compassion for myself. I believe that we all are a bit too hard on ourselves which makes us not hold as much compassion. I think I just need to forgive myself for mistakes, that are after all, just mistakes we need to learn from. I believe I still have compassion to work on though believe I’m right where I need to be on my soul growth.

I think I’m a much better person now, than I have ever been in my life and there is so much learning to do. I can only really expand from here.

Lesson 111: Throw Your Dreams Into Space

Throw your dreams into space like a kite, and you do not know what it will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country.
— Anaïs Nin

Today is about thinking of your hopes and dreams and releasing them into the Universe, the wind, to God (if you believe) or Gods & Goddesses, to the Earth… What we are doing is planting the seeds for growth. Whatever we desire, do it with intention, in hopes that it will manifest. We need to let go with fluidity as we do this. We need to ask for new signs as we grow and in ways we can recognise.

I want to have the focus to learn my light path and grow. I want to do this to help others. I think there was a sign where I was doing a workshop. We were discussing spell work in this workshop and that the Gods don’t know the difference in what coloured candle you use, and in the next room a copper vase flew off the shelf onto the floor. It was random, but it was a sign to me to keep at it… Well I took it as a sign. Weird stuff happens in that shop all the time, but never when I’m around, until now! I think my message was to keep on the path that I am on and the work I’m doing will expand in time. My growth comes in the light work I want to do and the witchcraft that will connect me with others. My growth comes in my faith that I’ve got a job to do and I have to keep working on it, in order to help others.

Day 110 - A Year of Spiritual Awakening - Everything That is Material

Lesson 110: Everything That is Material...

There is one truth in this life – how far, wide, much we can open our hearts. We tend to distract ourselves with sometimes mindless things. This can range from social media, physical items, certain friends and addictions.  These are said to just be distractions from our true heart’s purpose. We’ve been through the first passage of pain and really built our compassion in the second passage. Do you find that you may still be dealing with pain and made good attempts to be more compassionate? The third passage is connection. Are you there yet? Doesn’t matter what your answer is because we are always at the right place when we’re meant to be.

For me, I don’t have pain to deal with, or rather I should say I have dealt with it. I am learning to be more compassionate because I want to be more understanding of others. We don’t know another’s struggles and therefore shouldn’t judge. We all definitely don’t have the same opinions, so we need to be more tolerant of each other. We also need to care more about others, once we’ve got to a good point ourselves. These are all the lessons I’ve learned so far in the compassion passage of the heart. I still think I got more compassion to learn, but I’m open to the next phase of connection.

I strive for more connection in the sense of having more substantial life progressing experiences. I want more people that I have a sense of community with. They may have the same causes and ideals as where I am at in life right now. So I have actively tried to find these people and asked the Universe for it. I stopped ignoring signs and took a chance at establishing friendships. They have not failed me so far. It’s hard to find people that are on my spiritual path and when I do find them, I have to savour that because I have a lot to learn from them also. You just never know how long the connection will be around for either, so don’t take for granted the time I have with these people. It’s from here that I want to expand to helping people once I think I’ve gained the knowledge to do that. I help people now in various ways but I one day want to make it on a grander scale. So in relation to this lesson, I think I am soooooo open to connection.

Where do you think you are currently?

Day 109 - A Year of Spiritual Awakening - The Purpose of Life

Lesson 109: The Purpose of Life...

The purpose of life is not perfection. The purpose of life is soul growth. As humans, we experience soul growth in the expansion of our hearts through the four passages: Pain, Compassion, Connection, Love. This is all we need to do here, in this lifetime. There is no other journey.
— Sara Wiseman

Today’s lesson is all about how you approach life. If all that mattered in life was our soul growth, does the way you live change? I think we need to think about expanding minds to this concept and in doing so, it would definitely change our perspective. I believe just being open to it, indicates a change, whether we admit it or not.

For me personally, I have been open to the idea that we live to grow our souls. I don’t live a life of perfection. I haven’t lived this way for some time. I live for experience – the way I connect with people, the way I learn from myself and others, the unique memories I create. When I changed my way of being and living, it’s opened me up to so many more possibilities. I think I’ve learned more about myself in the past 10 months than I have my whole life. I had to sink to the deepest low to realise the strength I had and how it was one of the most memorable moments to launch me onto my spiritual path.

Everything we do is about engaging with other souls as well as work on our own souls. When we realise we are all interconnected from an energetic and sacred geometrical level, we all are one. We can grow as a whole if we want to. It’s about opening yourself and then opening others us to this way of being. This is what I am doing. This is what you can do also.
