Lesson 106: What Does Spaciousness Feel Like?

This week we are introduced to a new theme of “Letting Go, Letting Flow”. From this theme, I get the indication that there is some release to come and allowing the natural flow of energy to come through. Today’s lesson is about spaciousness and how it is a state of being rather you making it happen.

Today we are to describe spaciousness and what it feels like to you. For me, I think it’s like freedom, a clear space that is mine and I’m flowing through it. It’s also about being more open for me. Really embracing all that there is. The freedom to make choices of what suits you and what doesn’t work for you. It also is about the ability to grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I think we can be expanding and forever growing which is part of being spacious.

Lesson 106: One Way to Find Compassion For Yourself...

This is probably one of the lessons that I really feel connected to. Today is about finding compassion for yourself when you haven’t been able to before. The one way you can achieve this is to go into nature because regardless of your faults and woes, nature is non-judgemental and accepts you as you are. Nature loves you and can heal you and you don’t have to view yourself as worthy or not, it will do it for you. Today we are to write about nature and if it willing to hold energy for us, what does it say about yourself.

To me, I always feel refreshed in nature, like something is stripping away every problem off your shoulders and creating a lighter version of yourself. No worries exist in nature – it’s just you and nature connecting and reaching a calm, peaceful state. If nature is there to heal, regardless of your past, it tells me that being open towards everyone and anything is possible. That if you hold no judgement for yourself and others, then compassion can occur. Nature exerts a state we all wish to be – free, serene, tranquil, composed, comforting. But why can’t we just apply this to ourselves always? There is nothing to suggest why we can’t get to this state, and that means we can hold compassion for ourselves. Think of nature and just be…

Lesson 105: Some Days You Feel Good...

We all have good and bad days. That goes without saying. We have the capability to raise our vibration in those moments when we can really get low. This can be done by using your breath. When people say take some deep breaths, it really has the power to increase our vibration. I think we really take for granted just how much power that has for us.

Today’s exercise is to hold your intentions with each breath. In through the nose with one deep breath, hold it, then release through the mouth. Do this as many times as you like. Think of something you want to achieve today and breathe that in with good intention. With each breath out, release any negative thought that you may have towards yourself and your intentions. I prefer to close my eyes when I do this, because as I open my eyes, I feel so refreshed.

I decided to release any negative thoughts involved with work and I want to move on from it. Some bullshit is going down and I have to remember that because I cannot control it, I shouldn’t let my anger to the situation get the best of me. I got to keep focusing on myself and realise if it’s not for me, to look for another job. It will work out. Breathing helps to calm me down and I feel lighter. That’s a good way to be.

How did you go?

Lesson 105: Check In WEEK 15 - Raising the Frequency

This week has all about releasing, building and understanding simple truths.

I especially needed a reminder that what we put out in the world is what we attract. If we’re always in a negative mindset, then that’s what we are always going to see – the bad in things, the bad in people, get angry at little things. This week has taught me that we can always take small steps to raise our vibration into positive environments. Just imagining yourself as the best version you want to be, noting the attributes to that and working towards it, really sets things into motion. We can be whatever we want to if we work hard for it.

There was talk about worthiness. I think the list I made of all the things I see the best version of myself integrates worthiness. I think if I know all these positive things I want to be and work towards it, then I become worthy of that. I believe the message from the lesson is that we’re always worthy, but I disagree. I think nothing comes from nothing but something comes out of hard work. You can’t sit around lazy taking no action and deem yourself as worthy of something. That’s just my opinion anyway. I think it will work out if I remain consistent in my efforts.

Day 104 - A Year of Spiritual Awakening - This Idea of Unworthiness

Lesson 104: This Idea of Unworthiness...

This idea of unworthiness, of sin, of being unsalvageable—it’s not true! You took on this idea, when you first were hurt, wounded, experienced pain. But it’s a misbelief. You don’t need it. This idea isn’t correct!
— Sara Wiseman

Today we are to write down all the “rotten” things about ourselves. We are to read it and recognise that we are just like anyone else – there is nothing more wrong or right about you to the next person. We are all imperfectly perfect. It’s time to acknowledge that we are very much the same in this way. We all have good and bad aspects and go through the same emotions and feelings. Our experiences in situations are not the same but we definitely can say we know of anger, pain, hurt, love, happiness, joy….

My list consists of:

·         I am messy

·         I don’t like my body sometimes

·         I don’t eat well enough

·         I can be lazy

·         I need more focus and motivation

·         I should be doing more for myself

That’s my immediate thoughts of things I recognise I do consistently. I guess the point is, I share these same thoughts with many people… and that’s okay! These are attributes I am trying to work on and I actively seek out to eradicate the bad thoughts and take action of those that I lack. I don’t necessarily see myself as “rotten”. I just think it’s a step by step process, always getting closer to the best version of me.
