Day 251 - A Year to Clear - Take a Salt and Soda Bath or Shower

Lesson 251: Take a Salt and Soda Bath or Shower

On lesson 92 we were given a recipe of a salt and soda remedy that could help with our clearing practise. I personally do not remember it nor do I remember actually using it myself. Haha! So, the recipe is mixing equals parts of sea salt (not Epsom) with baking soda. If you take a bath, pour it into the tub and soak and if you shower, make a paste in your palm and rub it all over your body. This is meant to restore balance.

I guess it’s an easy way to scrub away and clear anything off your body and within your energy field. I personally believe that any scrub can do this and why not use something that you love that has a nice scent to calm your senses. It’s definitely a cheap way of scrubbing your body as well as clearing. There are so many products out there that you can use to achieve the same result. Whenever I use a scrub, I feel more clean than I normally am after a shower, but I feel refreshed – like the scrub has actually taken away the crap that was attached to me and washed it down the drain. Do you ever feel this way? I think if you have the intent, then washing away the crappy energy is something I visualise when I use a scrub.

Anyone want to try this soda and salt paste and tell me what it’s like?

Day 180 - A Year of Spiritual Awakening - The Physical Body Has a Method...

Lesson 180: The Physical Body Has a Method...

The physical body has a method for going through a cycle of cleansing from the blood, internal systems, the skin… Unfortunately, our emotional body does not have the luxury of this automated system. We have to think of ways to cleanse our emotions time and time again. We can do this with meditation, taking some time in nature, going for a walk, listening to music, connecting with others.. In what ways do you clear your emotional body? Today think about and write down what they are.

I thought I would just list the ways I clear and release emotions. These include:

·         Listening to music

·         Sleeping on it

·         Watching TV shows and movies to relax

·         Meditation

·         Cleaning the house

·         Talking to close friends

·         Talking to mentors

·         Understanding why I have those emotions

·         Facing the truth with those emotions

·         Crying

·         Dancing

·         Taking a few deep breaths

I don’t do all of these daily but they are my options. What do you do to cleanse emotions?

Day 173 - A Year to Clear - What Clearing Can Look and Feel Like

Lesson 173: What Clearing Can Look and Feel Like

Don’t turn away. Keep your gaze on the bandaged place. That is where the light enters you.
— Rumi

Today’s lesson is Stephanie Bennett Vogt recounting a tale of how a Thanksgiving holiday didn’t go to plan. I don’t want to recall the story because I want to state the overall message. As I’m doing this clearing course, it’s changed the way I approach things in my life. Basically, when something usually upsets you, it’s about how you can take another approach in your reaction. You can let the anger brew, the sadness or the frustration take over. The alternative is to look at the situation as an observer. How can you let that “storm” inside dissipate? It’s about being aware of those feelings that make you feel bad and help to clear them. Face the feelings and help clear out that negative energy. We can all take a step back with any reaction we have. It’s analysing your feelings and turning them around. I like to just imagine white light cleansing the space where my feelings are. I think by letting it go, it opens me up for more positive vibes.

I think this clearing course has really allowed me to take another approach in my feelings but also give me more understanding for others. I think when I don’t let my emotions take over and can be more aware, I don’t feel all that shit energy hang around. The more I clear the negative, the more I can attract good things. We all have the power to do this and bring in that mindset into our lives. We just need to be more aware and move forward when we have to.

Day 115 - A Year to Clear - Wash and Release

Lesson 115: Wash and Release

Have you ever used water as a form of release? I have, though I only learned of this method last year. Whatever seems to be troubling you; whether it’s a career worry, some friend that’s upset you, some negative thoughts floating around in your head… you can use washing hands, bathing, showering or even dish washing to “release the charge”. There is some intent in using the water for release as we’re moving stuck energy.

My favourite release activity is usually in the shower. I close my eyes and picture the water washing over me as white, golden light penetrating my body. Anything that washes over me, I picture as black negative energy going down the drain and escaping my body. I always feel uplifted and refresh by doing this visualisation. The water washes away and takes all your worries away. I believe it works and feel better for it.

Today’s exercise is using water with intent. Whether it’s just a simple act of washing your hands, think about what’s being extracted and washing away. You can build a flow of events by doing this.

Let me know how you feel as a result.
