Nancy’s Diary – A Lipstik Sneaker - Day out in Fremantle

img_7274.jpg

We went out to Fremantle with LiLi's friends last Sunday and I got to wear pink this time :)

LiLi decided to wear some Black Milk Clothing Snakey Pink Leggings. Check out her vid here:

We started out at Micheles Crepe Suzette and LiLi had a lemon cinnamon crepe. Was just the right consistency of of sour to sweet. Was delish. It was a really small stall and so popular at the same time. Really cheap too.

Here are some pics of the market. It gets really full fast. Not as good as the Australian eastern states markets but it has some perks.

After crepes we went to go get coffees at Theobroma. LiLi had a white chocolate mocha which was interesting to say the least. One of those drinks that you need to get used to. They had so many chocolates and desserts on sale, that it's so hard to resist!

After Theobroma, we walked around the markets and LiLi bought a lot of badges for her work lanyard. She goes a bit crazy over funny badges.

We spent some time at Time Zone and LiLi tried real hard to win from the skill tester and failed. There was some epic air hockey played and random photos taken which have yet to surface. Hmmm wonder where they are.

We stopped for a bit outside to chill before heading to Mexican Kitchen

Mexican Kitchen has some awesome food and we had this amazing  fruit punch that was to die for! They also do fish bowls there but we didn't end up getting one. LiLi ended up getting a chilli bean burrito as it was vegetarian. It was one of the hugest burritos she'd ever seen served with rice. Was tasty and we'd definitely go there again.

Here is a pic of me leaving on the entry sign on the floor:

After this we spent some time at Jackson's so LiLi's friend could get art supplies and then finished the day at Cold Rock. Was a full on day with lots of walking.

Here are more pics of Freo:

This was a funny pic because the man had a security cap on and walking stick. It just didn't make sense!

We ended up at Garden City and LiLi bought rose tea at T2. The home after that. I still looked as good as ever after that day.

It's always a good thing when you look great and spend it with good company. Hope to bring you more posts soon!

Nancy's Diary - A Lipstik Sneaker - Entry #1

img_6975.jpg

This is very exciting! My very first post!

I'm Nancy and I sneaker around with LiLi. Hehe

I wanted to share with you what an amazing day I had on Friday. LiLi took me out to show me off to her work mates. Let's just say I outshone any other piece of footwear in the office ^_^ More people should wear Lipstik Shoes!

You see, it's casual day on Friday at LiLi's work and she tries to bring all the brightness to her fantastic outfits. Today I was glazed in yellow glitter and was happy to play all day with LiLi's unicorn leggings. Who doesn't love unicorns?

We did a lot of walking around (mainly because LiLi left her phone in her car, so there was a bit of back and forth) and we even had lunch at Croissant Express. LiLi even picked up a chocolate croissant for her boyfriend- YUM! After having a roll at Croissant Express, we ended up at Baskin Robbins to try out this new flavour ice cream called Honey Sesame Crunch. It was divine!

Because LiLi's boyfriend was sick, we ended up going to Priceline after work and getting him cold and flu medicine.

It was definitely a nice sunny day on Friday and wish we could have done something more fun than just go to work. I was beat from all the walking we did but at least I knew I am durable enough to get through it!

I wonder what our next outing will be. Today's outfit was a test run for all the future possibilities ^_^

So I blame my friend April for introducing me to Lipstik Shoes. She wore these amazing silver glitter sneakers and I just wanted a pair after that!

It's a great online store with shoes to cater for every need. What got me going in particular were the Nancy sneakers:

They are gliterry sneakers and are the most comfy shoes ever!! They cost $79.95 from the website but are also sold in Shoe Show. The great thing is, it's free to sign up to become a VIP to get free shipping within Australia. They do ship internationally as well.

Here is what I have bought so far:

I love wearing sneakers with tights:

I managed to buy the pink and fluro yellow on Sale for $50.95 so you can routinely check if your favourite pair will go on sale.

The black wedge boots I bought are the neon blacks currently on sale for $35.95:

These wedged ankle boots are really comfy as well. Kind of high for me, but I'm still going to wear them!

They sell heels, flats, wedges and clogs even! Go check it out here and spoil yourself with a bit of Lipstik ;)
